Mentoring, leadership, accountability, responsibility, and goals are all part of the 181 Teen Movement. This program is designed to empower and equip our students to be leaders and learners.

Competitive individual or team video gaming on computers, console, or mobile gaming devices. Students will learn about sportsmanship and gaming strategies.

Youth Entrepreneurship
Grades 9-12 Session 1 & 2
Entrepreneurship is a viable alternative to traditional career pathways. This programming aligns with entrepreneurship and economic engagement by teaching business fundamentals and fundamentals of business ownership.

COMMUNITY EDUCATION
Success Mentoring
During lunch periods M/W & Tu/Th
One-on-one mentoring for selected students twice per week, designed to improve attendance and academic performance.
Youth Advisory Council/Student Council
Tu, Th 3:35-5:25 PM
Students will learn about the roles for class representatives, run campaigns, hold elections, learn about self-governance, while helping to make decisions about programming and activities at their school.
FAFSA Night
Feb. 26
Help for scholars and their families to navigate the Free Application for Federal Student Aid financial aid eligibility and application process.
Decision Day
May 4
Students announce their intended college/postsecondary education/ training plans at a special assembly.
Career and College Fair
May 5
Annual event that features employers and local colleges in a vendor fair setting for high school students to explore postsecondary options.
Honors Night
May 20
A special ceremony for seniors to celebrate and recognize our students for outstanding academic, leadership, athletic, and community achievements.
