Transition time that promotes healthy habits and increases students’ knowledge of nutrition on how to eat well, promote healthy eating habits and help children stay strong, healthy and active.

Fitness
Grades K-6 Session 1 & 2
Fitness helps students develop motor skills, knowledge, and confidence to be active for life, perform physical activities, adopt healthy habits, and play sports.

Homework Help
Grades K-6 Session 1 & 2
Assistance focused on helping students complete their homework assignments correctly.

Creative lmaginators Club
Grades K-1 Session 1 & 2
This session will focus on both creative expression and foundational life skills. Students will practice important fundamentals such as learning how to tie their shoes, showing kindness to one another, and practicing self-care. In addition to these skills, students will work on hands-on creative projects and taste-testing activities.

Crafty Bites Adventure Club
Grades 2-3 Session 1 & 2
Crafty Bites Adventure Club is a fun, hands-on club where students explore food, culture, and creativity. They use their imagination to make crafts inspired by global cuisines, healthy habits, and favorite snacks. We taste, create, and celebrate together while learning about new foods and cultures. Held: M, Tu 5:10-6:00 p.m.

STEM Squad
Grade 4 Session 1 & 2
STEM Squad is a hands-on Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) club designed to spark curiosity, inspire students to use critical thinking skills, and build STEM skills. Students will participate in lessons that will promote exploration, problem-solving and teamwork/ collaboration.

Girl Scouts
Grades K-6 Session 1 & 2
Girls will be engaged in leadership training, service learning, youth voice and empowerment activities, and developing life
skills through Girl Scout programming.

ELGA Credit Union
Grades K-6 Session 1 & 2
Age-appropriate financial education in money management skills such as saving, budgeting, and making smart spending choices through interactive activities and real-life scenarios.

Stemnetics
Grades K-6 Session 1 & 2
Enrichment that will strengthen their math, science and leadership skills. During the program students will build various STEM projects like rockets, robots, cars, and projects about force in motion and electricity.

Art & Science Museum Club
Grades 4-5 Session 1 & 2
An interactive, hands-on space where students explore creativity and curiosity through art and STEM. Each session transforms the classroom into a mini “museum” filled with rotating activities-painting, sculpture, digital art, simple chemistry, physics experiments, and design challenges. The club encourages imagination, critical thinking, and confidence.

Superbowl Spirit Day
Grades K-6 Session 1 & 2
Celebrate Super Bowl season with Spirit Day! Participants are encouraged to wear team colors while enjoying football-themed games and activities in a welcoming and energetic atmosphere.

Piece of Pi Celebration
Grades K-6 Session 1 & 2
Celebrate Pi Day (3.14) with a “Piece of Pi” celebration! Participants will enjoy a fun activity centered around math, treats, and friendly conversation while recognizing the importance of Pi in a lighthearted, engaging way.

Shamrock Shake Social
Grades K-6 Session 1 & 2
Join us for a festive Shamrock Shake activity in celebration of St. Patrick’s Day! Participants will enjoy creating and tasting a classic minty treat while connecting with peers in a fun, lighthearted environment. This activity encourages community building and seasonal fun.

Springtime Treasure Hunt

The Springtime Treasure Hunt is a fun, interactive activity designed to promote engagement, movement, and collaboration. Participants will search designated areas for hidden treasures while enjoying a positive, inclusive springtime experience.

Cinco De Mayo Celebration
Grades K-6 Session 1 & 2
Join us for a Cinco de Mayo Fiesta as we celebrate culture, community, and togetherness! Participants will enjoy themed activities, music, and fun experiences that highlight the spirit of the day in a positive and engaging way.

Luau Summer Send-Off
Grades K-6 Session 1 & 2
We will celebrate the end of the school year with a Luau Afterschool Summer Send-Off! Participants will enjoy fun, themed activities, games, music, and refreshments as we come together to celebrate a successful year and kick off summer in a positive, joyful way.

COMMUNITY EDUCATION

Success Mentoring
During lunch periods M/W & Tu/Th
One-on-one mentoring for selected students twice per week, designed to improve attendance and academic performance.

Kindergarten Transitions/Buddy Visit
May 18
Buddy Visits allow preschool students and families to visit and engage with school staff and kindergarten students in elementary school classrooms. Each preschool student will have a kindergarten buddy, and the pair will be assigned common goals during the Buddy Visits.

Parent Ambassador Meetings
Feb. 20, Mar. 20, Apr. 17, May 15
Parents and other community members collaborate with school staff and administrators to provide input on educational policies, programs, and decisions to improve student success. This group serves as a bridge between the home and the school.

Youth Advisory Council
Weekly on Friday 4:00-5:00 p.m.
Students will learn about the roles for class representatives, run campaigns, hold elections, learn about self-governance, while helping to make decisions about programming and activities at their school.

Health and Wellness Event

Support for our students, families, and staff in developing positive habits around physical fitness, nutrition, and mental well-being. The event would serve as a fun, educational, and engaging way to promote overall wellness while strengthening our school community.
