Dragon Feast
Grades K-6 Session 1 & 2
Dragons Feast is our afterschool dinner program, providing a healthy and welcoming meal for students. Designed for our after-school participants, it gives students time to eat, relax, and connect with friends.

Active Dragon
Grades K-6 Session 1 & 2
Active Dragons is the physical fitness portion of our afterschool program, helping students stay active and healthy. Through fun games, exercises, and team activities, students build strength, coordination, and endurance. The program encourages an energetic lifestyle while embracing our school mascot, the dragon.

Tutoring
Grades K-6 Session 1 & 2
Tutoring services for all students in kindergarten through 6th grade. This program will offer consistent, high-9uality academic support aligned with classroom instruction, focusing on strengthening foundational skills, addressing learning gaps, and building student confidence.

Reading Rangers
Grades 1-2 Session 1
Reading intervention; literacy and skill building to improve grade-level reading using strategies such as lessons on individual tablets, reading curriculum, parent and family engagement activities, and more.

Flint Institute of Music
Grades K-6 Session 1 & 2
The Flint Institute of Music provides engaging, high-quality theater instruction for our students. Their teaching team leads interactive lessons that build confidence, creativity, and performance skills through acting exercises, storytelling, and collaborative activities.
Held: Tu 5:00-6:00 p.m.

No 2 Stripes Alike
Grades K-6 Sessions 1 & 2
Lessons in zoology, including live animal handling, ecology and biology. Students will learn about animal behavior and habitat.

Girl Scouts
Grades 2-6 Session 1 & 2
Girls ages 7-12 will be engaged in leadership training, service learning, youth voice and empowerment activities, and developing life skills through Girl Scout programming.

475 E-Sports
Grades 2-6 Session 1 & 2
Competitive individual or team video gaming on computers, console, or mobile gaming devices. Students will learn about sportsmanship and gaming strategies.

The Cool Down Cave
Grades K-6 Session 1 & 2
A cozy end-of-day spot where students can enjoy a snack, share reflections about their day, get help with homework and unwind before heading home. It’s a friendly space to relax, recharge, and wrap things up on a positive note.

Cooking With Coach A
Grades K-1 Session 1 & 2
Cooking with Coach A gives students hands-on experience in the kitchen, learning to prepare simple and tasty recipes. Students develop cooking skills, teamwork, and confidence while exploring new foods.

Gaming Dragons
Grades K-1
Gaming Dragons lets students explore strategy, teamwork, and problem-solving through a variety of games.
From board games to interactive challenges, students build critical thinking skills while having fun.

Lights, Camera, Create!
Grades K-1
Lights, Camera, Create introduces students to the world of theater and performance through acting, storytelling, and creative expression. Students build confidence, teamwork, and communication skills while participating in fun, hands-on activities.

Color Craze
Grades K-1 Session 1 & 2
Color Craze lets students explore art through vibrant colors and creative techni9ues. Each session focuses on painting, drawing, and experimenting with different materials to bring their ideas to life.

Art & Paint
Grades 1-3 Session 1 & 2
Students explore creativity through drawing, painting, and simple hands-on art projects. Each week features a new theme or technique. All skill levels are welcome

Battle of the Builds
Grades 1-3 Session 1 & 2
A fun, hands-on group where students use creativity and teamwork to make amazing structures. Each week, students will build with materials like blocks, LEGO bricks, cardboard, and more. They’ll learn problem-solving skills as they design, test, and improve their creations.

Cooking Math
Grades 1-3 Session 1 & 2
Cooking Math combines hands-on cooking with practical math skills like measuring, fractions, and proportions. Students learn to apply math in the kitchen while following recipes and creating tasty dishes.

Junior Designers
Grades 1-3 Session 1 & 2
A creative space where kids explore their imagination through fun design projects. Each week, students will design things like clothes, cars, menus, and other exciting creations. They’ll learn to plan, sketch, and bring their ideas to life using simple tools and lots of creativity.

Jewelry Club
Grades 1-3 Session 1 & 2
Jewelry Club lets young students design and create their own bracelets, necklaces, and other fun accessories. They learn basic crafting skills, practice fine motor coordination, and express their creativity.

Everyday Equations
Grades 1-3 Session 1 & 2
Students will explore how numbers are used in activities like cooking, makingjewelry, playing games, and more. Each week, kids will practice measuring, counting, and problem-solving through fun, hands-on projects.

Crafty Dragon
Grades 1-3 Session 1 & 2
Crafty Dragons lets young students explore their imagination through fun, themed art projects inspired by dragons, fantasy, and storytelling. Each session builds creativity, fine motor skills, and confidence as students design and create their own magical crafts.

Imagination Dragon

Welcome to Imagination Dragons! This club is all about playing, laughing, and being a kid. From games and silly challenges to messy crafts and creative chaos, anything goes as long as we’re having fun and being safe.

Crafting Dragons
Grades 4-6 Session 1 & 2
Students will complete various arts and craft activities, including painting, bracelet making and more, allowing them to be creative and learn about the arts.

STEAM Club

Hands-on projects that explore science, technology, engineering, art, and math. Students experiment, build, and create while developing problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

How to Cook a Dragon
Grades 4-6 Session 1 & 2
Students will learn cooking skills by preparing and cooking meals and learning the ins and outs of being in the kitchen.

Creative Writing

Creative Writing encourages students to explore their imagination through stories, poems, and other written expressions. They develop writing skills, creativity, and self-expression in a fun, supportive environment.

STEM Club

STEM club gives kids the opportunity to try STEM activities and get introduced to new potential career options in the STEM field through fun games.

LEGO Masters
Grades 4-6 Session 1 & 2
LEGO Masters challenges students to design, build, and problem-solve using LEGO bricks. Through creative projects and friendly competitions, students develop teamwork, engineering skills, and critical thinking.

E-Sports Dragon
Grades 4-6 Session 1 & 2
E-sports club gives students the opportunity to play and compete in video games, building healthy competition skills and hand-eye coordination and reaction times.

Cooking Academy

Cooking Academy introduces students to basic kitchen skills, food safety, and simple recipes they can make independently. Students learn measurement, teamwork, and creativity while preparing fun, hands-on dishes each week.

Fathers That Care

Volunteers will teach students about entrepreneurship, business, and healthy habits, designed to build leadership skills, strong character, and positive values.

Success Mentoring
During lunch periods M/W & Tu/Th
One-on-one mentoring for selected students twice per week, designed to improve attendance and academic performance.

Kindergarten Transitions/Buddy Visits
Buddy Visits allow preschool students & families to visit & engage with school staff and kindergarten students in elementary school classrooms. Each preschool student will have a kindergarten buddy, and the pair will be assigned common goals during the Buddy Visits.

Youth Advisory Council/Student Council

Students will learn about the roles for class representatives, run campaigns, hold elections, learn about self-governance, while helping to make decisions about programming and activities at their school.

Parents and other community members collaborating with school staff and administrators to provide input on educational policies, programs, and decisions to improve student success. This group serves as a bridge between the home and the school.

6th Grade Graduation

6th Grade Graduation is a special celebration honoring our students’ accomplishments and growth as they complete elementary school. Families and friends are invited to join as students are recognized for their hard work, dedication, and achievements.
